Meet Jordan Cruz, FNP-C
Jordan Cruz, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner on the team of providers at SLENT, an exceptional otolaryngology practice with three clinics in Louisiana. Jordan works out of the practice locations in Mandeville and Hammond.
Jordan was born and raised in a small town in North Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 and then practiced as a registered nurse in a surgical intensive care unit and post-anesthesia care unit at a large hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, for three years.
In 2011, she and her family moved to Madisonville, Louisiana. She joined SLENT as Dr. Guillot’s registered nurse and opened SLENT’s allergy department. She also served as clinical coordinator for the practice. After five years of nursing, Jordan decided to further her education. In 2016, she graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Masters of Science in Nursing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she enjoys seeing patients of all ages with a variety of ear, nose, and throat complaints and diseases.
In 2017, Jordan took on yet another venture with SLENT. She spearheaded and opened SLENT Surgery Center. In 2018, SLENT Surgery Center was fully open for operations and Jordan now serves as the Administrator of the facility.
Jordan is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing. She is also an allied health member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
