Meet Rachel Fitzmorris, AuD, L-AUD, CCC-A
Originally from Kenner, Louisiana, Rachel Fitzmorris earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and her Doctor of Audiology degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She later made the Northshore her home, where she has continued to care for patients with a wide range of hearing and balance needs.
Rachel is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. At SLENT, she provides comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations for both children and adults, along with individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
She finds her work especially rewarding because of the opportunity to help patients reconnect with the people and experiences that matter most to them. Rachel is passionate about educating patients on how hearing loss can affect everyday communication and quality of life, and she works to empower each patient to take an active role in improving their hearing health.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children, being with extended family and friends, and volunteering in her local community.
